A favourite on Channel 5’s top kids’ TV show Milkshake! Derek travelled the world as part of boy band D-Side before landing the job of TV presenter. He was signed to Warner Bros in his teens and spent his early adult years constantly on tour and playing high-profile gigs, enjoying chart hits in the UK and Japan. But when Derek expanded into TV, he knew where his heart really lay – singing and dancing in the Milkshake House.
