Dogs
Yes! All well behaved dogs are welcome at 5 on the Farm. Please ensure they are kept on a lead throughout your visit, and are wearing up to date ID tags. If you are planning on bringing your dog to 5 on the Farm, we request you read our other FAQs about this, and contact us on [email protected] should you have anything you feel unsure about.
There are some areas of the site that are less dog-appropriate, so please be considerate of this when attending the event. Please remember that Cannon Hall Farm is a working farm, and in allowing dogs to attend, we must place the welfare of the animals that call Cannon Hall Farm their home as our highest priority.
For this reason, dogs will not be allowed on the front rails of the Barn. We have designed a dedicated “Dog Trail” around the farm itself to enable those bringing their four legged friend to the event to not miss out on this area, however, this will restrict access to certain barns and how close you will be able to get to our celebrity animals! We ask that you keep to this trail, and do not leave your dog unattended at any point.
We do not allow dogs into the Milkshake! Meadow (with the exception of Chase & Marshall of course!)
Although we love our furry companions, the environment might be overwhelming for some of them so please consider whether this environment is right for your dog before deciding to bringing them along. The weather on the day may also not prove suitable for your dog to attend, so please take this into consideration when planning to bring them along.
If for any reason you are attending with your dog and they are not enjoying the event, or the weather becomes unsuitable for their attendance, you will be permitted pass out tickets to leave and return later in the day. Please do not leave them locked in your vehicle at any time.
There are lots of water points throughout the site for you to fill your dog’s water bowl.
We are hoping for lovely Yorkshire Summer weather throughout August bank holiday, so please make sure to make use of our shelters from the sun throughout the day.
Please pick up after your dog. There will be plenty of bins throughout the site. Dog mess is incredibly dangerous to sheep and other grazing animals.
Dogs can attend 5 on the Farm free of charge, and don’t require a ticket or pre booking. If you wish to share a photo of your furry friend(s) to our social media platforms however, our team LOVE seeing photos of cute dogs!
We’ll be sharing information on Graeme’s live show closer to the event, so keep your eyes peeled on our social media and website.
